Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the general approach to refunds, subscription cancellations, implementation fees and third-party charges. Specific commercial terms in a quotation, order form or service agreement take priority where applicable.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

1. Review the service before purchasing

Customers should review the selected plan, implementation scope, included features, billing cycle, third-party requirements and any one-time charges before confirming a purchase.

Questions about what is included should be raised before work begins.

2. Subscription fees

Subscription charges cover access to the services and features included in the applicable plan during the relevant billing period.

Cancellation affects future billing according to the applicable subscription arrangement and does not automatically create a refund for periods that have already begun or services already provided, except where required by law or agreed in writing.

3. Setup, design and implementation fees

Fees for setup, configuration, design, customization, migration, development or implementation may relate to work performed specifically for the customer.

Once substantial work has started or been delivered, those fees may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law unless the applicable agreement states otherwise.

4. Custom development

Custom functionality or work commissioned specifically for a customer may involve planning, design and engineering resources that cannot be recovered after the work is performed.

Refund eligibility for custom work will therefore depend on the stage of work, the applicable quotation and mandatory legal rights.

5. Third-party charges

Charges paid to third-party providers are generally controlled by those providers and may not be refundable by Ordavya.

  • Google Maps Platform and API usage.
  • Firebase or Google Cloud usage.
  • Hosting, storage, database and bandwidth charges.
  • Apple Developer Program fees.
  • Google Play developer-registration fees.
  • Domain registration or renewal fees.
  • Payment-gateway and transaction fees.
  • SMS, WhatsApp, email or communication-service charges.
  • Other externally purchased APIs, subscriptions or licenses.

Important

Ordavya cannot guarantee a refund for money already charged by or committed to an independent third-party provider.

6. Cloud and Firebase overage charges

Where the restaurant's usage exceeds free or included cloud allowances, usage charges may be generated by Firebase, Google Cloud or another infrastructure provider.

Such usage charges are generally non-refundable once incurred unless the infrastructure provider itself approves a refund.

The restaurant remains responsible for usage generated by legitimate traffic, customers, integrations and configured services unless a written agreement states otherwise.

7. App-store fees

Apple, Google and other app-store fees are subject to the policies of the relevant platform.

Developer-account registration or renewal fees are not refundable by Ordavya where they were paid directly to the platform.

8. Domains

Domain registrations and renewals are often non-refundable after processing because the registration is completed through an independent registrar.

Ordavya cannot guarantee cancellation or refund of a completed domain registration.

9. Payment processing fees

Payment processors and banks may retain transaction, settlement or refund-processing fees.

Ordavya does not guarantee reimbursement of third-party financial-processing charges.

10. Requesting a refund review

A customer requesting a refund review should contact Ordavya and provide sufficient information to identify the account, transaction, service and reason for the request.

Ordavya will review the request against the applicable service agreement, work already performed, third-party costs, usage incurred and mandatory legal rights.

11. Service problems

If a customer experiences a technical problem, Ordavya should be given a reasonable opportunity to investigate and correct the issue before cancellation or refund is requested where appropriate.

12. Refund method

Where a refund is approved, Ordavya may return funds using the original payment method or another reasonable method agreed with the customer.

Processing time may depend on the payment provider, bank or card network.

13. No automatic guaranteed refund period

This Policy does not create a universal guaranteed refund period for every Ordavya service.

Eligibility depends on the relevant service, work completed, third-party costs, contractual terms and mandatory consumer rights.

14. Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

15. Contact

Questions about cancellations, billing or refund eligibility can be submitted through the Ordavya contact page.
